Not a bit a cynicism in this movie! Loved it! It really makes me happy that this version embraced the original instead of showing contempt like Maleficent did. This movie felt like a fairy tale, in the best possible way!

Thanks, Bekah! I was surprised too at the underlying, “deeper” messages of the film. It only reinforces Disney’s ability to create a lovely live-action version of this classic. I could see this one again in theaters, but certainly I’ll buy it on DVD. It was a refreshing fairytale – and one I’ll see again and again, too! 🙂

What a wonderfully perfect review, Rissi! I was surprised that this movie had an uplifting message and such a gentle, kind-hearted, and brave heroine. What a great example for girls! I went to see this with my sisters and we all really loved it. I’d see it again…and again. 🙂

I thought that your review was really good and i loved the fact that her bravery and kindness are her strengths. I also think the whole story was very well done and i really enjoyed it.
