I find this movie to always be filled with joy. The cast seems to be having such a wonderful time. I completely agree with your regretful feelings: I don’t usually follow celebrity couples, but I felt so disappointed when Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson divorced. That is partly my selfish sadness that they probably wouldn’t do any movies together ever again. Every time I see Kate Beckinsale, I recall the kinds of movies she used to do, and I feel disappointed about the stereotyping as well.
