It is indeed, Rad! I do believe this is one of my favorite romantic-comedy endings there is. 🙂

The humor is fantastic – I don’t think it’s a comedy that is likely to bore me no matter how many times I re-watch it. Definitely a highlight and yes, Georgia was great. I liked how she played the role complete with horrible fake accent and that “tip-toe” walk was hilarious! Great cast all-around.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I love the part at the carnival, which was so colourful and delightful. However, I feel the development between Jane and Mr Nobley was not enough for a “Jane… you are my fantasy,” despite how convincingly that line was delivered by the swoon-worthy J J Field. The romance isn’t the reason I enjoyed this movie. My favourite part of the movie was the drama and humour (especially when they were preparing for the play and the play itself), AND LADY AMELIA HEARTWRIGHT!!! Gosh, I adored the hilariously theatrical personality that Georgia King pulled off so well. I liked Georgia King in Wild Child, but as Amelia she was so so so funny in the perfect way. The cast of this movie was just a reward in itself. What with one half of Flight of the Conchords as Martin? Henry Tilney as Mr Nobley? Although the plot was rocky at times and the chemistry of the main couple might not have been fully developed, I loved the feel of this movie. The fun bits were fun, the funny parts were HILARIOUS, and whatever other problems were there were didn’t matter in the end because by the end I felt warm and happy.
