In reply to Pat Parisi. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I can see how not liking the movie would make you appreciate the changes more. And wow, that's devotion to a musical! It is a fun show and I enjoyed it. I agree that the set design and costumes are amazing. Having read numerous reviews and audience reactions, people seem pretty split about the changes and the musical itself. So, it's interesting to hear your view as well.

I disagree with the review of changing Moulin Rouge the Musical. I saw the movie twice and never felt sad about the ending because I thought the movie was silly. I’ve seen the musical 14 times and am going twice next week. I like the ending being uplifting and fun. The set design is magnificent, the costumes are incredible and the entire cast keeps me going back again and again. And I love the song changes.
