Yeah, the original Roswell is just so good. And the writing team? Amazing. There is a major difference in writing quality between the old series and the new. Roswell is one of my all-time faves. 🙂

Entertaining but nothing special. I was a huge WB fan so I think Roswell was one of the few shows I missed…

Can you say obsessed!? I can’t get enough of this show and the characters. Especially Liz and Max! And!! I’m a huge Outlander fan so once I saw Ronald Moore’s name (and Toni Graphia, another Outlander writer) it “cemented” the connection for me. Yeah it’s early 2000’s grainy but the characters are soo well written and developed. And No character is underused. Love it!

If you like the paranormal ones, try Masters Sun. I liked that one better than My Love From the Star and Legend of the Blue Sea. Both of which were only so/so for me. Then when you decide you like So Ji Sub, try Oh My Venus. Honestly, there are just too many to watch right now!!!

I’m obsessed with Kdramas too! Also how I found this site. My Love From the Star was a little slow, but very fun and memorable. Stick with it. You just can’t beat Goblin, though!

Roswell was my first true obsession. I discovered message boards for the first time (lived at the crashdown), wrote my first (and only) fanfic (long since lost *sniff* *sniff*), mailed countless bottles of Tobasco, made friends all over the country, travelled to various states to watch parties (like a full season marathon prior to season 2 premier in DC), discovered Dido, made countless CDs of music from the episodes (so strange to watch Max and Liz’s first kiss to any other song than Gomez’s “We Haven’t Turned Around”) and attended the cast party in LA. Sigh. Max and LIz will always be my favorite couple.

Now with the obsession to end all obsessions….I’ve discovered KDramas. Which is how I stumbled onto your site. And per recommendation I am giving “My Love From the Star” a try to see if it can fill my Max and Liz void. Please tell me it picks up after episode 3… Honestly I think Goblin may have ruined all other fantasy dramas for me. Having just watched it a few weeks ago (ok who am I kidding, I rewatched i over the weekend), I’m still trying to recover.

Truly engrossing. I watched it a few years after it was popular and was really impressed by it. These new CW shows have nothing on the narration and self reflection of the older shows like Roswell and Felicity. They really knew how to build character development in the “quiet” moments.
