Yeah, there are really great Asian dramas out there! And we’ll take that list idea into consideration. Thanks for your comment! 🙂

Coffee Prince is great! I haven’t watched Love Alarm yet, but it’s on my list. 🙂

I really love Asian dramas, not just K-dramas. I’m really getting into Chinese xianxia dramas. “The Untamed” is on Netflix, Prime, and Youtube, and it’s wonderful. It’s a very non-explicit BL drama (boys love drama) based on a very spicy danmei novel/manhua/anime commonly called “Mo Dao Zu Shi”. I watched “The Untamed” first, fell in love with it, and now I’m watching the anime version in Chinese with English subtitles on the Tencent Youtube channel.

Would you consider doing a list of BL historical dramas? Most will be Asian dramas I think, but there are several contemporary dramas that are nice as well. I watched a short one recently on the Rakuten Viki app, called “The Tasty Florida”, a sweet romance BL drama, and all the episodes were under 15 minutes long. I prefer longer format dramas, but I will watch a good short one as well.

I think that Ji Hoo loved Jan Di but she wasn’t his true love. Jan Di ended up with the guy she was supposed to, being Gu Jun Pyo.

You know it’s good when it evokes this strong of an emotion. Kim Hyung Joong stole my heart in this one completely. (And yes I’ve since become aware of the controversy he’s caught up in…and yes, it bothers me.) I rooted so hard for Jan Di and Ji Hoo so hard that I actually cheered when Jun Pyo was hit by the car. Sorry (not sorry). I mean how many times did they give us a chance to get the truly happy ending with Jan Di and Ji Hoo only to have it quickly snatched away? I felt my heart breaking over and over again along with Ji Hoo’s. The frustration is alive and well for me. I have since learned to sooth myself by watching Playful Kiss. While KHJ’s character in this one is by no means as good as his role as Ji Hoo, it serves as ointment for the pain Boys Over Flowers left me in.

I don’t speak korean so I watch with subtitles. Lol) Jan-Di and Ji-Hoo always had waaaay more chemistry than Jun-Pyo. Ji-Hoo was her soulmate.
