I’ve so loved the idea of receiving a bouquet of books that I’ve started gifting it to my fellow bibliophiles. I’m including some additions to the bouquet as well, which are Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid, Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. Would love other suggestions for future “bouquets!”

I actually said the exact same thing to my family when I texted them, “It left me wishing it was a novel, so I could go and buy it and read it with more detail.”
AND I dont read novels often anymore. So that was huge!
I will research novels which are similar to this. I love the language, and the elegance of it all. It was so tastefully done. I would love to see this in a series. I know Forever was on, but that was more intrigue and had a violent undertone. I grew up watching Anne of Green gables and I adore that romanticism behind that series, even when there is no physical romance in it for scene after scene. It still has a pull, a draw, that just seems so……electric. Full of energy, yet, no acceleration, at the same time. Kinetic.
It makes me want to broaden my vocabulary, lol.
