I came across this blog by accident when searching to see if was a sequel and thought I would post. I really enjoyed this film more than I expected I would. I got tired of the same American movies and decided to expand to foreign films. Even with subtitles, I found there are many films to enjoy. Part of me wishes there was a sequel, but I feel it would not be as great as the first. I would suggest watching this film to anyone that likes dragon movies.

I adored this movie and went in search of reviews for it. I am working on a series of dragon poems and the memory of this film tale came to mind. In deed, years later it is still in my consciousness for its many themes. and its beauty. Thank you for writing about it and rekindling my affection for it.

My family and I watched this movie 3 times in 2 days..even with having to read subtitle it was one of the most beautiful and captivating movies I have ever watched….I can not understand why I bombed in Russia….I seriously would love to see a sequel to this movie that shows maybe their child….bottom line this movie was super ly made in my humble opinion….

I just discovered this movie and watched it today! I also adored it!!! And I plan on watching it again soon! Lol [Just fyi, it is available to watch for free on Tubi TV and Vudu. You can still find it with an Amazon Prime search (like how I found it), but it directs you to Tubi TV to actually watch it.]

In reply to The Silver Petticoat Review. I loved it so much, I’ve seen it 3 times. It’s truly a beautiful story. I just wish I could find more movies/stories like it. The cast and story details were captivating. The ending was ... so satisfying. Reality hurts and is harsh. Stories such as this one help me escape.
