Hallmark originals are made up of TV movies that are both family-friendly and inspirational.

Fall Harvest is Hallmark’s annual “autumn” movie event which spans several weeks in September and October on the Hallmark Channel. These tend to be idyllic romances Hallmark has become known for in recent years.

Why You Should Watch: All of My Heart: Inn Love is a sequel about the engaged couple, Brian and Jenny, as they prepare for their bed and breakfast grand opening. That is until a massive storm hits their town!

It was part of the 2017 Fall Harvest lineup and includes some gorgeous fall scenery. Not to mention an appearance by the always amazing Ed Asner.

Why You Should Watch: Sweet Home Alabama fans will love this Fall Harvest movie! When a former married couple discovers their marriage was never annulled (fifteen years after the fact), they reunite to finally get divorced. But their former feelings begin to resurface.

This movie is set during the Fall and has gorgeous scenery to match it, making it a great choice to watch during Thanksgiving (or any other time of the year!)

Why You Should Watch: If you love the nostalgia of Autumn Harvest Festivals in real life, then you’ll love this rom-com from the 2016 Fall Harvest Lineup. Rachel Leigh Cook and Brendan Penny star in this adorable film about feuding wineries.

This one will make you wish for someone to whisk you away to a scenic location, complete with fall colors adorning the trees. The movie was filmed on location in Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, in case you were wondering!

The movie also stars Sarah Paulson and Karen Allen, so a fantastic cast all around.

Why You Should Watch: Period drama fans will love this Hallmark movie based on a lesser-known Louisa May Alcott (Little Women) story. It’s about the widowed Mary Bassett and her three children who face difficulty on their farm and can’t even buy a turkey for Thanksgiving.

When Mary’s wealthy mother makes a surprise visit, the two clash over past wounds. However, they discover common ground in the family ties that matter most.

With an all-star cast, including Jacqueline Bisset, Helene Joy, and Tatiana Maslany, it’s a must-watch family drama this time of year.
