Yeah, this is so different than what I expected of a Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie. It was interesting that their chemistry was still an important part of the story (not the main part, but still present).

When I saw Hanks and Ryan had made another film together that I hadn’t seen I was thrilled. I think my expectations colored my lack of enjoyment for this film, but reading your review showed me what I missed. I did really love little Ulysses.
