I usually know a lot about the backstory about superhero movies before going in, but I knew almost nothing about Captain America before this movie, and I didn’t have much interest in learning more. By the end of the movie, I was completely invested in Steve Rogers and his story, and he too is my favourite Avenger. His humility, his gentleness (and this despite being a warrior), his strength and his courage won me over completely. I attribute this entirely to Chris Evans who made this role his own and plays his part perfectly.
