Truly a wonderful review of this charming masterpiece!
I have always held this lovely and indescribable movie close to my heart throughout the years. The directing by Alfonso Cuaron really brings the magic as you said. I agree strongly with so many of your points, like how powerful stories can be, and I really believe that they can touch us in ways that will influence us as we grow. My favourite part is how the story of Rama and Sita subtly mirrors the main plot in a sweet and tender way — I only noticed this when watching the movie again but older! I also agree that the scene where Sara confronts Miss. Minchin is incredibly powerful.
Overall, a very lovely review that took me on a trip down memory lane!

Alfonso Cuaron creates such beautiful scenes in this movie. I agree that he does an amazing job. I also agree that the scene where she confronts Miss Minchin is fantastically done. Lovely review.
