Thank you for commenting (sorry about the delayed response time)! I’m glad you enjoyed the review and the movie. I was pleasantly surprised that the film was so wonderful, even though it was so hard to track down! And I agree, the romance was beautiful and raw and wonderful!

Thank you for commenting (sorry about the response delay)! I’m glad you enjoyed the review. It was such an amazing movie; I was glad that they were finally able to make it. Even with all the problems that they had, I think it was worth it. And I agree. I also cried at the ending.

Hi Kathleen! Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the review 🙂 The movie really was a very pleasant surprise. It’s a bit sad that it’s forgotten as much as it seems to be.

I completely agree with your comments. I didn’t have high hopes when I began the film, but it surprised me with the depth of emotion it evoked through its complicated and unique plot-line. The romance was beautiful and raw and without a doubt, my favorite part of the movie.

So nice to read such a thoughtful and intelligent write-up. This movie has some of the best writing and best acting I have seen in a long time. I personally found the ending more sweet than bitter–which is absolutely a good thing! I cried tears of joy at the ending.

It’s very possible… There were parts that did make me cry, but there was a happiness factor too, so I think it balanced out.
