Denis Lawson, as John Jarndyce was such a kind and understanding guardian and Phil Reed’s Smallweed was fantastic! I even loved Nathaniel Parker as Skimpole. who was a delight! I have now watched this drama twice.

I liked how it told such a complex story. It definitely needs those eight hours if they want to touch on all the story lines. I haven’t yet finished it though. I need to get to that.
